Gravita Tax Partner, Thomas Adcock will present on the UK’s tax environment following the Autumn Budget and Spring Statement, as well discussing as some planning opportunities that may help navigate some of the challenges that have been created.
The event will feature an update by Santander UK’s Chief Economist, Frances Haque and Head of Risk Solutions, Nathan Hutchings. They will provide an exclusive update of the UK and global economic outlook, particularly in light of President Trump’s tariffs announcements. There will also be a focus on the risks to the global and UK economies.
Following the presentations, you’ll have a chance to network with fellow business professionals.

Thomas Adcock
Tax Partner at Gravita
Tom advises a large number of clients operating internationally, advising on structuring their global affairs, often through offshore jurisdictions. Tom advises on the tax issues affecting people and businesses coming from all over the world to interact with the UK Starting his career as a Corporate Tax Inspector with HMRC enables him to manage tax inquiries for both corporates and individuals effectively. His experience on ‘both sides of the fence’ ensures a stellar record in assisting clients with tax investigations.
Frances Haque
Chief Economist at Santander UK
Frances is the Chief Economist at Santander UK responsible for the economic analysis and macroeconomic forecasts. Prior to joining she worked for a variety of different institutions as a senior economist including, EY, BT, BBC, Ofcom and OFT. She has also appeared on BBC News, Sky News and radio programmes including the Today and Wake up to Money programmes, providing commentary on published economic data and analysis.
Nathan Hutchings
Head of Risk Solutions Group at Santander
Nathan started his career in markets and international banking at RBS before moving to work with corporations, managing and executing their foreign exchange risk and market risk. Since March 2020, Nathan has been part of the corporate and commercial bank senior management team at Santander UK with responsibility for the FX, interest rate and ESG agendas across corporate and commercial banking.
