Katherine Wilkes
Partner, Audit and Assurance
Katherine is a Chartered Accountant. She trained with a firm in Tunbridge Wells before spending time in industry. Katherine returned to practice in 2003 and has spent a large portion of her career with a big four firm, KPMG, where she gained extensive accounts and audit experience in both the commercial and charitable sectors.
She specialises in charity and academy audits, and her diverse charity portfolio includes many Oxford colleges through to small local charities. Katherine’s portfolio also includes multiple international groups and companies in the technology, software, manufacturing and distribution sectors.
Katherine is a Trustee and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Oxford Playhouse, Chair of Cold Ash Brass, where she also enjoys performing, is a Scouting volunteer, and has previously spent five years as a local special school governor.
Sandy Cochrane
Partner, VAT
Sandy brings to Gravita a wealth of experience in VAT, including have spent more than ten years in industry. Following her time in industry, Sandy moved into practice, some 20 years ago, and has not looked back!
Sandy’s ‘in-house’ VAT experience has enabled her to provide a holistic approach to advisory, seeking input from other service lines where applicable.
Sandy has been involved with advising an array of clients to meet their VAT requirements, from OMBs, to large multinational corporations.
Sandy has a natural ability to make VAT easier for clients to understand, in particular for international businesses, in a pragmatic manner.
William Hobbs
Head of UK Multi-Asset Wealth - BARCLAYS
Will is the head of UK Multi-Asset Wealth Team for Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management. He is a fellow of the Securities Institute and has close to 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Will leads the team focused on the core aspects of the Investment offering, setting the BUK Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA), Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA), Investment Philosophy and delivery of Investment content.
