Gravita charity bulletin – Q1 2026

Published on:  21 January 2026

We’re pleased to introduce the Gravita charity bulletin – a new audit and accounting quarterly update for trustees, finance leaders and senior teams across the charity sector.

Charities are operating in an increasingly difficult environment. Regulatory change, public expectation and governance standards are moving quickly. Staying properly informed matters.

Each edition of the bulletin will focus on the issues that are most relevant right now, with clear commentary on what they mean in practice.

Our first issue covers:

  • Preparing for the new Charities SORP, including the accounting treatment of leases
  • Safeguarding, risk and trustee responsibilities in a more hostile public environment
  • Reserves policies and financial sustainability
  • Impact and sustainability reporting and what funders increasingly expect to see

We hope this becomes a practical tool that helps you and your board make informed decisions and stay ahead of upcoming changes.
