Job Title: Associate, Audit

University: University College London (UCL)

Degree Subject: History

What are some of the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities in your role?

I am currently a Third Year Audit Associate in the final year of my training contract, and now predominantly Senior jobs. This usually entails liaising directly with the Partner / Manager, tackling more complex areas of the audit file, and setting work for junior colleagues, whilst also being on hand to offer support and training to them.

What do you enjoy about working at Gravita?

I like how varied the client-base at Gravita is, which means no two days or engagements are the same. This exposure to clients of different size, operating in completely different industries, helps your knowledge grow significantly over the course of your training contract. For example, over the past year, I have worked as a Semi-Senior / Senior on audits for clients operating in industries such as entertainment and music; bookmaking; real estate; and the maritime and anti-piracy sector.

I also appreciate how my responsibility has increased considerably since joining, which really highlights Gravita’s commitment to supporting your professional development.
