Nicola Harte

Associate Director, Private Client

Nicola is an Associate Director in Gravita’s Private Client Tax team, with over 20 years’ experience advising individuals, families, landowners and business owners on their personal tax affairs.

A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, Nicola began her career with Big Four firms before moving into industry with a large PLC. Today, she manages the Private Client Tax team in Oxford and advises clients across a broad range of areas, including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Stamp Duty Land Tax.

Nicola has particular expertise in tax matters arising from divorce and separation, advising individuals leaving or returning to the UK, property and land taxation, and Inheritance Tax and succession planning. As a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), she also provides specialist advice on the taxation of trusts and estates.

Nicola takes a personable and practical approach, helping clients understand complex tax matters through clear, straightforward advice. She enjoys getting to know her clients and their individual circumstances, ensuring that any planning is tailored to their needs and objectives.

Outside of work, Nicola enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and keeping active.
