Bringing fresh clarity to Gravita

As we wrote to clients a few weeks ago, we’re taking steps to simplify both Gravita’s brand image and corporate structure.

This follows a series of new firms joining Gravita which have brought greater scale, depth, and an ability to deliver a wider range of services to our clients.

The latest corporate development activity involved joining forces with Carter Backer Winter (CBW), a Top 60 chartered accountancy firm based in the City of London, and Davis Grant a firm with deep sector expertise in the technology industry and a high-quality client base.

As part of the move to a single brand identity, all our clients will now be serviced via Gravita branded entities, with the exception of clients of Davis Grant who will continue to be co-branded Davis Grant, part of Gravita. The reorganisation will also result in certain legal entities within the Group, predominantly those that no longer provide services to clients, being wound up.

As previously outlined, for the vast majority of clients, nothing will change. They will be supported by the same teams and receive the same quality of attention and great service that they are used to receiving. Those clients who may need to take specific steps to ensure continuity of cover, they will be contacted separately.

Gravita’s CEO, Caroline Plumb, said:

“These changes bring fresh clarity to Gravita, our people and our clients, as we continue our mission to become the UK’s leading tech-enabled accountancy firm for growth businesses. Gravita’s ambition is to be a pioneer in the next generation of accounting firms, embracing technology to deliver for clients, drive efficiency and be a leading employer for our people. Simplifying our legal structure and brand is an important step in ensuring we have the clarity we need to build a formidable challenger firm in this space.”

If you are a client and have questions, please get in touch with your usual account manager. Please also note the update to several of our legal entity names e.g., on invoices. Invoices issued by Gravita are correct, and any outstanding invoices should still be paid as usual.

As of today, we are now ready to move to a single brand identity, and all our clients will now be serviced via Gravita branded entities.

The next step forward is moving to a single brand identity and servicing the majority of our clients from Gravita branded entities. Davis Grant will continue to be co-branded Davis Grant, part of Gravita.

The CBW Foundation will also operate under the Gravita brand, as The Gravita Foundation. This will also result in certain legal entities within the Group, predominantly those that no longer provide services to clients, being wound up.
