Team - Matthew Bracher

Matthew is an Audit Partner with over 30 years of experience in accountancy practice. As a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Responsible Individual (RI), he leads the planning and delivery of statutory audits, FCA-regulated assignments, independent examinations and grant assurance engagements. He has particular expertise in advising charities and not-for-profit organisations, small and medium-sized owner-managed businesses, and complex group structures.

Matthew combines deep technical knowledge with a practical, collaborative approach, helping clients navigate financial reporting requirements, regulatory obligations and technical accounting challenges. Alongside audit, he provides strategic advice on accounts preparation and tax compliance, supporting organisations across a broad range of sectors with clear, commercially focused guidance.

In addition to his client work, Matthew has overall responsibility for Gravita’s Bristol and Exeter offices and serves as the South West Regional Lead Partner, supporting the continued growth of the business and the development of its people.
